Frisco, who test-solved it, claimed this grid is extremely on-brand!
A new QVXword is coming on Thursday (!!!) - look out for it! AVCX subscribers will also recall that last week, I edited a 58-word themeless from John Hawksley which people universally agreed was really, really good; there's other stuff from me coming there too, btw. I'll have more news on that front soon (as well as news pertinent to the other place I edit puzzles at) ... plus a gigantic "grids I liked in March/April/May" megapost.
